François Audigier
François Audigier est professeur ordinaire en didactiques des sciences sociales (histoire, géographie, citoyenneté) à l'Université de Genève (FPSE). Ses domaines de travail concernent les pratiques enseignantes et la formation des maîtres, les manières dont les élèves construisent leurs conceptions de la vie en société en relation avec les enseignements de sciences sociales, les relations entre les disciplines scolaires de sciences sociales dont la finalité commune est la formation du citoyen, les curriculums et les Éducations à… la consommation, au développement durable, aux médias, etc., autant de domaines qui tentent de s'introduire à l'école comme des réponses à des demandes sociales de plus en plus pressantes. Julie Thompson Klein
is Professor of Humanities in Interdisciplinary Studies at Wayne State University (USA). Her books and monographs include Interdisciplinarity: History, Theory, and Practice (1990), Interdisciplinary Studies Today (co-edited 1994), Crossing Boundaries - Knowledge, Disciplinarities, and Interdisciplinarities (1996), Mapping Interdisciplinary Studies (1999), Transdisciplinarity: Joint Problem Solving among Science, Technology, and Society (co-edited 2001), Interdisciplinary Education in K-12 and College (edited 2002), and Humanities, Culture, and Interdisciplinarity - The Changing American Academy (2005).
Yves Lenoir
Yves Lenoir holds a doctoral degree in Sociology from the Université Paris 7. He is a Full Professor in the Department of pre-school and elementary teaching at the Faculty of Education of the University of Sherbrooke. He is also the holder of the Canada Research Chair in Educational Intervention (CRCEI). He is actually the chairman of the World Association for Educational Research (WAER)-Association mondiale des sciences de l'éducation (AMSE)-Asociación mundial de las ciencias de la educación (AMCE), a nongovernmental organization official recognised by UNESCO. He is director of the Centre de recherche en intervention éducative (CRIE), he is a member of the executive committees of the Centre de recherche interuniversitaire sur la formation et la profession enseignante (CRIFPE) and the Centre for Research in Youth, Science Teaching and Learning (CRYSTAL). He is also heavily involved in international speaking engagements as he participates in several international research networks, including the OPEN (Observation sur les pratiques enseignantes) network in France, the Laboratoire Innovation Formation Education (LIFE) in Switzerland and the Grupo de estudos e pesquisas da interdisciplinaridade (GEPI) [Group for Studies and Research on Interdisciplinarity] in Brazil.
